This policy explains how the publisher of herveybay.tours ("we", "us") handles personal information. It is written in plain language and aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Very little. herveybay.tours is a static website: there are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no newsletter.

• No cookies of our own. The site itself does not set cookies.
• No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or analytics service.
• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser user agent and the time of the request. The host keeps these logs for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify you or build profiles.
• Emails you send us. If you write to contact@herveybay.tours, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not add you to any list or share it for marketing.

The GetYourGuide widget and booking links

Some pages show live availability or tour listings from GetYourGuide. The widget loads only when you scroll to it. When it loads, it runs GetYourGuide's own scripts in your browser, and GetYourGuide may set its own cookies and collect information about your visit. The same applies once you click a booking link and arrive on getyourguide.com. Booking links pass through a redirect on our site that adds our partner ID and a campaign tag so GetYourGuide can credit the referral; they do not add any personal information about you.

If you book, you give your details to GetYourGuide and the operator, not to us. Their handling of your data is covered by GetYourGuide's privacy policy and the operator's own policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Disclosure and overseas transfer

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We disclose it only if the law requires us to. We may use service providers located outside Australia. GetYourGuide is based outside Australia and processes data under its own policy.

Security and retention

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up. We rely on our providers' security measures for server logs and email.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you (in practice, any emails you have sent), or ask us to delete it. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
