These terms apply to your use of herveybay.tours (the site), published by the publisher of herveybay.tours ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information only

The site is an independent travel guide. Everything on it is general information to help you plan a trip to Hervey Bay and K'gari (Fraser Island). It is not professional, legal, medical or safety advice. We check operator facts on official sources and cite them, but tours, prices, timetables, park rules and conditions change, sometimes at short notice. We do not guarantee that any information on the site is accurate, complete or current. Always confirm the details on the booking page or with the operator before you travel.

Prices

Prices shown on the site come from GetYourGuide's live feed in Australian dollars and are refreshed regularly, but they can change between our last refresh and the moment you book. The price and terms shown on GetYourGuide at checkout are the ones that apply.

Bookings are between you and GetYourGuide or the operator

We do not sell tours, take payments or hold bookings. Booking links on the site send you to GetYourGuide through tracked redirects. When you book, your contract is with GetYourGuide and/or the operator that runs the trip, on their terms and conditions, including their cancellation, refund and weather policies. Questions about a booking go to them, not to us.

Commission and independence

We may earn a commission from GetYourGuide when you book through our links, at no extra cost to you. We do not accept payment for placements or reviews. The about page explains how we choose and check tours.

Links to other websites

The site links to GetYourGuide, operators and official sources. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Content and photos

The text and design of the site belong to the publisher of herveybay.tours. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page. Photos are used under their own licences, listed on the photo credits page; product images belong to GetYourGuide or the operator.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its information, and for anything that happens on a tour booked through a link on the site. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited as far as that law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
